Welcome to anyone who reads this. I am a UK Guardian reading Jew and also a member of an orthodox synagogue where no-one else will admit to reading this newspaper...
This makes me feel a bit isolated - so I wanted to see if there are other left leaning orthodox and traditionally minded Jewish people out there and whether we can start a discussion about this and how we can counter the monolithic influence of the right
I have been contributing to the Guardian Comment is Free blog for a while now and have recently had two articles published there
The first was about Israel Shahak and is here
The second discussed orthodox Judaism and feminism and is here
They have both provoked some discussion and debate and I am happy to continue the discussion if anyone wishes!
